PeopleFinders.com is seeking an SEO Associate for its Marketing department. Over the past decade the company has quietly become one of the largest owners of public records data in the country, distributing its products over a vast network of websites. What You’ll Achieve:

The SEO Associate, reporting to the VP of Marketing and SEO Manager, will be responsible for executing and supporting SEO strategies to improve Organic Search visibility, traffic and user engagement across our websites.

  • Assist in the execution of SEO strategies for our B2C websites which includes www.peoplefinders.com, www.findaneighborhood.com, and our broader portfolio of owned websites.
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage tasks, track progress and coordinate with stakeholders to implement SEO initiatives and ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Conduct link-building initiatives, strategic outreach and relationship building with authoritative websites to secure high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority.
  • Regularly maintain performance reports to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate insights to evaluate impact of SEO efforts.
  • Support content development efforts by providing SEO-driven research and recommendations with writers and marketing teams.
  • Perform technical audits to identify and address issues impacting Core Web Vitals, usability and crawlability.
  • Effectively communicate SEO recommendations into clear, actionable insights to a wide variety of stakeholders and leadership.

Salary

$50K-$65K

About you

  • 1-3 years of SEO experience
  • BA/BS in quantitative discipline
  • Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio.
  • Continuously stays up to date with emerging trends in the digital marketing industry and how these innovations impact SEO, such as Algorithm Updates, Generative Search, and more.
  • Possesses fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to SEO.
  • Adaptable and highly organized, comfortable navigating priorities, multiple tasks, and seamlessly transition between initiatives based on evolving businesses needs.
  • Embraces new ideas, experimentation, and explores innovation, continuously tests and refine approaches, and adapts what works and take learnings from what doesn’t.
  • Track record of managing complex, cross-functional web-related projects and programs. 
  • Working understanding of the relationship between Paid Acquisition and SEO, including how both channels complement each other to maximize overall search visibility.
  • Approaches challenges with enthusiasm and a solutions-oriented perspective.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sites that have a large volume of pages, and thinking programmatically to efficiently scale initiatives
  • Basic understanding of user experience and page design
  • Experience in creating social media content to improve brand visibility across platforms like Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok
