Job Purpose
The Director of Paid Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the execution of all paid customer acquisition channels for our consumer-based websites PeopleFinders.com and FindANeighborhood.com. We seek a proactive candidate with a strong sense of accountability and a focus on bottom-line results. This role requires expertise across multiple marketing channels including, but not limited to, Paid Social Media, Paid Search, Display, Affiliate, CRO and more. This role will report to the Sr Vice President of Marketing.
Salary:
$110K-$125K

- Experience managing a team of direct reports
- Ability to manage a team while also executing independently
- Experience in a B2C subscription business
- A numbers first strategist who isn’t afraid to take chances
- An appetite for outcome - transforming business from strategy through to execution
- A personable, outgoing, effective communicator
- Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind, leverage customer insights and data to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience
- Highly skilled in PPC
- Data Driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability, with a track record of “test & learn” mindset
- Ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with the pressure of multiple deadlines, multiple partners/vendors, and complexity
- Excellent team player, who values other views and can earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert influence
- Strong creative marketing and communication skills
What You’ll do
- Leverage customer insights to better segment, target and reach potential customers
- Direct and manage a team on various channels to achieve goals and ROI targets
- Build and scale paid social media
- Test, learn and scale what works and have the confidence to cut what doesn’t
- Allocate and modify budgets for efficient spending
- Optimize marketing budgets to optimize CAC and customer LTV
- Manage and prioritize needle moving initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Identify pain points to creatively improve non-performing areas
- Drive campaigns from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance metrics
- Develop hypotheses and perform A/B (or multivariate) testing to recommend optimizations
- Ensure that our brands are appropriately represented in all paid and digital work
- Scope out and identify new channels, platforms, tools and systems to improve performance
- Test new channels and trends such as social media, programmatic and more
- Tweak strategies and budgets based on current performance to maximize ROI
Education & Experience
- 8+ years Digital Marketing & Paid acquisition experience
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Quantitative discipline
