Summary of Position: 

The Account Coordinator position is responsible for supporting an assigned team of Account Executives, Senior Account Executives and Account Supervisors on their consumer promotions campaigns. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

 

Key Responsibilities and Attributes:

  • Manage and ensure accuracy of promotional data: Correctly associate item UPC information with offers, meticulously proofread promotional materials and UPC lists, and perform precise data entry for assigned business units across various tactical platforms (e.g., FSI, DFSI, Mobile Rebates, Catalina).
  • Coordinate campaign timelines and tracking: Generate and manage specific program timelines, track campaign progress, and ensure all client budget information for assigned programs is current and accurate.
  • Facilitate client and vendor communication: Serve as a reliable point of contact by attending weekly client status meetings, providing concise recaps, and acting as a backup for primary contacts when needed, communicating directed messages to clients and vendors.
  • Support financial administration: Assist the team in compiling vendor estimates, creating and tracking purchase orders, and troubleshooting or resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process optimization: Learn and adhere to existing operational procedures while actively assisting in the identification, establishment, and development of new, more efficient processes.

A successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Preferred, but not required; Bachelor’s in Business or Communication; or Minimum 18 months of experience.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail and Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrate ability to meticulously review data, proofread materials for precision, perform intermediate-level mathematical calculations (e.g., discounts, percentages), and apply sound judgment to problem-solving.
  • Strong Communication and Collaborative Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing for client-facing interactions, routine reports, correspondence, internal team collaboration, and harmonious teamwork.
  • Organizational Acumen and Process Management: Capable of comprehending and executing complex instructions and procedures, operating internal online systems, managing healthy business processes, and contributing to efficient workflow coordination.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with a minimum typing speed of 55 WPM, demonstrating a quick ability to adapt to new software and digital tools.

 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
