Senior Marketing Manager

Nashville, TN

Employment Type: Full-time, Salary
Reports to: Market President

Overview

Peregrine Health is the behavioral health operating partner built for FQHCs. We build and scale virtual behavioral health hubs inside community health centers, so mission and margin grow together. We operate 100K+ annual visits across 350+ clinic locations and 30+ FQHC partnerships in 17 states, and community health is the only setting we work in.

You will be Peregrine’s first true marketing owner. This is a player-coach role in a company where marketing must directly produce warm paths into a finite market in the FQHC space. You will own the marketing plan, strategy through hands-on execution, supported by specialist contractors (design, PR), a business operations coordinator, and AI tooling rather than a large team of direct reports. Our messaging, brand standards, and solution library live as a structured Claude project; we expect an excellent operator with these tools to produce what historically required a small content team.

Strategic Importance

Peregrine sells into a finite, relationship-driven market where credibility is earned, not advertised. Marketing’s job here is not awareness for its own sake, it is producing warm paths into named accounts and giving executives the proof and air cover they need to close. As Peregrine’s first true marketing owner, this role determines whether marketing becomes a genuine source of pipeline or stays a support function.

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the Market President and works in close collaboration with the CEO, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Partner marketing & activation. Turn our partner ecosystem (association sponsorships, channel partnerships, client congresses, and future groups) into meetings: speaking slots, member content, co-branded assets, pre/post-event outreach against named accounts.

Customer proof. Produce and maintain flagship case studies, outcome reports, and a reference program — client executives co-hosting webinars and dinners, quantified results (patient outcomes, access volumes, utilization) packaged for a CEO/CFO audience.

Field Notes & content. Run our executive content program: 2–3x/week LinkedIn cadence across company and executive pages (CEO on the FQHC landscape, CPO on AI), blog and guest posts, quarterly webinars, and six pitched press releases per year with placement and speaking follow-through.

Named account support. Build relationship maps, touchpoint plans, and account-specific content for the top accounts; instrument everything in HubSpot so Growth sees engagement.

Executive events. Design and run curated dinners (6–10 seats) with client and partner anchors; own invite strategy, content, and follow-up.

Brand & infrastructure. Keep the website, Intelligence page, SharePoint brand library, and Claude project library current; manage design and PR contractors; own the marketing budget.

First 90 Days

Ship two flagship case studies. Fully activate Peregrine’s core association sponsorship with a named-account outreach plan. Stand up the Field Notes cadence and first webinar. Build the account-based marketing relationship maps with Growth. Execute the first executive dinner. Establish the monthly scorecard.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of B2B marketing experience; healthcare strongly preferred (community health, Medicaid, health services, or behavioral health care a major plus).
  • An exceptional writer who can hold an operator’s point of view. You can write credibly about community health economics for a CEO audience, not just produce “content.”
  • Commercially oriented: you think in accounts, introductions, and pipeline, not impressions. Experience supporting a named-account or enterprise sales model preferred.
  • Demonstrably AI-fluent: you use LLM tools daily to multiply output and can show us how.
  • Comfortable as a department of one: you set strategy, then do the work and manage contractors where leverage beats labor.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 20 days of paid time off plus nine paid holidays.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • $1,800 annually toward mental healthcare.
  • $5,000 fertility-care benefit.
  • Bonus eligibility.
