The Field Marketer Role
As a vital growth marketing team member, you will support regional sales teams by developing and executing field-based programs, including industry conferences, regional and custom events, and field-level demand generation campaigns to build awareness, drive leads, and help accelerate opportunities to close.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support a broad mix of marketing campaigns across field and regional teams, including the development and execution of regional plans, including customer and prospect campaigns, event and webinar execution, and corporate event support
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product marketing, design, content marketing, customer success, sales, public relations, social media, and digital team to manage field marketing program components
- Manage marketing program (webinars, events, customer meetings, etc.), logistics and execution.
- Develop and own relationships with stakeholders such as event organizers, association contacts, speakers, and other relevant partners.
- Create and deliver reports after event completion, with metrics and suggestions for a path forward.
- Conduct online research to help build and maintain complete, accurate contact lists for marketing and sales
- Assist with weekly and monthly marketing program reporting and metrics (events, campaigns, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.).
What We Look For
- 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing and/or event management
- Experience within the local public sector vertical and, specifically, first responders, emergency management, or state and local government market is highly desirable
- Proven track record of developing creative programs to engage prospects at the regional level
- Hands-on execution ability to manage multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate internal leaders/teams across functions
- Experience with marketing tools like Hubspot and Salesforce, as well as proficiency using other office productivity applications and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Slack)
- Self-starter capabilities to take the initiative with an optimistic “can do” attitude and a strong sense of teamwork
- Located in the DC or SF region, willing to come into the office 3x per week in a hybrid capacity.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
