The Role
We’re looking for a mission-driven Sales Manager to support our rapid expansion into U.S. Law Enforcement markets. As a key member of our revenue leadership team, you’ll guide Account Executives as they pursue ambitious growth targets in new and existing territories. You may not immediately have direct reports, but you'll play a hands-on role in deal support, pipeline development, and AE coaching—with the expectation to grow into a team leadership role as our sales footprint expands.
You’ll serve as a player-coach, helping the team navigate long, complex B2G sales cycles, position technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, and build lasting trust with public safety customers. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role in one of Peregrine’s most important customer verticals.
What You’ll do
- Support and eventually manage a team of Account Executives focused on net new growth in U.S. Law Enforcement
- Own forecasting, deal inspection, and performance management for your segment
- Partner with Marketing, Deployment Strategy, and Solutions to optimize GTM strategy and create demand
- Actively coach and support reps in their territories by joining prospect meetings, navigating procurement hurdles, and unblocking complex deals
- Help design and implement enablement programs that support field readiness and accelerate onboarding
- Build a pipeline development strategy to support scalable, repeatable success across multiple regions
About you
- You’ve been part of a high-growth B2G SaaS company and know how to operate with urgency in the public sector
- You’re passionate about building new markets and creating scalable playbooks from scratch
- You’re excited by the idea of managing high-performing AEs, even if your team size starts small
- You thrive in ambiguity, balancing short-term deal execution with longer-term team development
- You have strong situational awareness and can support ICs without overstepping, earning credibility as a trusted partner
What we look for
- 7+ years of sales experience with complex SaaS or data platforms, preferably in public safety or government
- 2–4 years of experience supporting or leading sales teams, with a strong interest in team leadership
- Deep familiarity with government procurement, contracting processes, and long sales cycles
- Ability to provide hands-on deal coaching and build repeatable pipeline generation tactics
- Track record of overachievement as both an individual contributor and coach
- Comfortable with Salesforce, Gong, Clari (or equivalents) and data-driven performance management
- Comfortable and willing to travel 50-75% of the time
- Located in any major metropolitan city in the U.S.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 Annually + Sales Commission + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
