Our AI-enabled platform turns siloed and disconnected data into operational intelligence—instantly surfacing mission-critical information to empower better, faster decisions that improve outcomes at every touchpoint. Today, Peregrine supports hundreds of customers across 23 states and two countries, serving more than 90 million people—and we’re amplifying our impact as we expand into more industries.

We’re a team of entrepreneurs—undaunted by the hard problems and united by a passion to make a difference where it matters most. We collaborate relentlessly, move with urgency, and act with purpose. If you’re driven by mission and energized by the opportunity to build something new, join us in defining Peregrine’s future.

The Role

Solution Engineers at Peregrine have the ability to evangelize our product and our mission to potential customers from a unique vantage point. In this role, you will tell our story and highlight tailored features in the platform that meet our customer's needs. You play a critical role in crafting the right narrative for existing and potential customers through specific customer use cases, strategic market intelligence, and compelling product demonstrations that highlight our unique product and business capabilities. You are intimately connected to both our new business efforts and our deployment efforts, channeling use-cases and success stories from the field into strategic positioning and storytelling with potential customers. You possess deep product fluency, creative data analytic skills, and significant customer and workflow empathy - this empowers you to build compelling product demonstrations and data workflows from scratch. You are a team player, curious, proactive, and committed to developing content that you can use to drive new business conversations yourself, plus design systems and processes to train others on your team.

Because you understand and can speak fluently about our product on a technical level, and can also distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences, you are able to build strong relationships with external stakeholders across the executive, operational, and technical spectrum. You won’t rest until the customer has every question answered in the sales phase and you consistently strive to architect solutions that address the customer’s unique technical challenges.

About You

    • You are a natural-born problem solver, and enjoy digging into complex technical challenges
    • You are an out-of-the-box, critical thinker with an outcome-focused mindset
    • You are a builder that can spot patterns, draw connections, and create novel solutions to new problems
    • You have significant sales experience and are experienced using data analysis and data visualization to tell a compelling story
    • You are a collaborator, and enjoy working with business development teams as well as customers to gather requirements and lead technical discussions
    • You are a thoughtful and empathetic listener; you devote the time to understanding a customer’s challenges and are able to generate tailored approaches based upon what best serves their needs
    • You are naturally curious and continuously seek out knowledge of product advancements, technical approaches, customer challenges and successes, and business strategy in order to inform your work

What We Look For

    • 5-7+ years experience in enterprise software/SaaS software or technical consulting
    • Technical or engineering background, preferably in computer science, data science, or other quantitative fields
    • Excellent communication skills across executive, technical, and non-technical audiences, preferably with experience in public safety, emergency management, and/or national security environments
    • Significant experience working with clients in a pre-sales capacity to lead introductory discussions, technical discussions, demonstrations, scoping, pricing, and contracting dialogues
    • Experience working in a cross-functional project capacity across product design, software engineering, customer success, sales and marketing teams
    • Willingness to dive into new analytical and technical challenges with a customer-centric, workflow, and impact-focused mindset

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
