Deployment Strategist, Federal

Washington, DC

Backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, Peregrine helps public safety organizations, state and local and governments, federal agencies, and private-sector institutions address society’s challenges with unprecedented speed and accuracy. Our AI-enabled platform turns siloed and disconnected data into operational intelligence — instantly surfacing mission-critical information to empower better, faster decisions that improve outcomes at every touchpoint. Today Peregrine supports hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving more than 125 million people — and we’re amplifying our impact as we expand into the enterprise and internationally.

About the Role

Peregrine Deployment Strategists are the high-velocity vanguard, transforming how the most critical organizations in the world operate. This is not about passive advisory, maintaining legacy systems, or watching from the sidelines. It is about stepping directly onto the front lines of consequence, bringing intense momentum, and solving problems that fundamentally shape society.

To do this work, you operate with relentless drive and fluidity. Within the span of a single day, you will move from deep data engineering and system architecture to high-stakes executive strategy and rapid product innovation.

At Peregrine, you take complete ownership of mission impact. We embed shoulder-to-shoulder with frontline practitioners and executive leaders to turn chaotic operational environments into decisive, data-driven action—accelerating critical response, strengthening essential infrastructure, and modernizing the institutions that underpin everyday life. We are building a high-speed, ambitious team with the energy, courage, and technical command to reinvent how the world’s most vital organizations execute their missions.

What You’ll Do

You will operate on the front lines with radical autonomy, relentless momentum, and high speed. You will:

  • Embed on the front lines: Work on-site with world-shaping institutions to internalize their highest-stakes challenges, understand their culture, and accelerate their operational velocity.
  • Engineer dynamic, mission-critical systems: Move far beyond static reporting. Architect robust data models, live pipelines, and automated intelligence workflows using Peregrine’s platform and AI primitives to unlock immediate operational power.
  • Invent what’s next: Anticipate needs before they are articulated, rapidly prototyping and shipping visionary solutions that revolutionize how our partners lead and decide.
  • Bridge the technical and the strategic: Move effortlessly between deep technical problem-solving with engineering teams and briefing executive leadership on mission-defining initiatives.
  • Forge unshakable trust: Earn deep credibility inside historically technology-resistant environments through flawless execution, humility, and undeniable real-world results.
  • Fuel platform evolution: Serve as the vital link between field operations and core Engineering, Product, and Design teams—turning frontline breakthroughs into scalable, generational software.
  • Pioneer new frontiers: Chart Peregrine’s expansion into vital new sectors and operational domains, establishing durable advantages and expanding our reach.
  • Live where the mission happens: Travel regularly to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our partners when and where it matters most.

What We Look For

  • 2–6+ years of mission-driven technical execution with proven track record in client-facing environments deploying enterprise platforms, engineering data systems, or tackling complex, high-stakes technical challenges specifically with Federal Agencies
  • Data engineering & technical rigor, strong command of SQL and Python, with the ability to build, optimize, and scale complex data pipelines, system integrations, and real-time operational workflows.
  • Relentless bias for action: An appetite for high velocity, decisive problem-solving, and the hunger to drive outcomes in fast-moving, high-gravity environments.
  • Inspiring communication: The ability to convey complex technical concepts with clarity, conviction, and resonance across diverse audiences, from data engineers to agency heads.
  • Technical foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Presence & Velocity:
    • Excitement and commitment to be in office 4+ days per week at our [LOCATION] office, collaborating in person to push the boundaries of what our team can achieve together.
    • Willingness and passion to travel approximately 50% of the time, often on short notice, to lead deployments on-site.
  •  Clearance: You currently hold an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (required)

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
