The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Apply customer payments (across 3 companies and several bank accounts including ACH, Wire, Lockbox Deposits, and CC payments)
- Research unidentified receipts / payment errors
- Enter Journal entries into Microsoft Great plains (GP) (Copy & Paste from excel templates) .
- Help run reports out of GP, Access etc. on an adhoc and monthly basis.
- Researching Credits on AR aging
- Manage the escheat process
- Work with Collections team on Customer payment related issues as needed.
- Strong attention to detail
- GP experience preferred but not required
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (in particular Excel), and ability to quickly pick up on role-relevant computer applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – it’s a Must Have, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft GP or NetSuite – Preferred but not required

We offer a pay range of $20-25/hr, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team.
The pay range listed for this role reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. compensation will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, and the specific team or product area they support.
