Overview

The strategist role is designed to oversee end to end campaign management. This role will be the quarterback of the account, providing strategic recommendations upfront and owning vendor relationships and cross-functional collaboration throughout the campaign lifecycle. The strategist will have a key focus on reporting and storytelling, helping to bring campaign results to life throughout the flight as well as in the wrap up report and presentation to the client.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the customer in cross-functional meetings – helping to guide the team towards solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
  • Be a strategic lead for key Retail and CPG account partnerships
  • Provide holistic, full-funnel recommendations for Retail and CPG campaigns across all activation channels and creative formats
  • Manage and lead kick-off calls with client/agency and internal teams
  • Liaison between sales and operations teams (Analytics, Creative, Partnerships, Product, Solutions Engineering)
  • Preparation and presentation of detailed client performance reporting that brings the campaign to life
  • Work with campaign counterparts to troubleshoot campaigns when needed
  • Project management of major campaign initiatives
  • Prepare and provide strategic sales materials for RFPs showcasing how we’ll meet and exceed their goals, all in a measurable way
  • Meet, build, and create deep relationships with client and agency partners
  • Work closely with campaign counterparts to ensure sure client goals are achieved/exceeded

Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years in client services roles with specialty in Retail and/or CPG verticals
  • Digital media experience is required
  • Deep understanding of competitive landscape: Digital media, DCO, Retail, CPG and Retail Media Networks
  • Familiarity with leading category measurement solutions
  • Detail oriented and data-driven, with strong analytical skills
  • Analytical with the ability to build recommendations and action plans based on data
  • Experience in working closely with sales teams, customers, and multiple internal stakeholders
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Media planning experience is preferred
  • 3rd party tagging experience preferred
  • Experience working in Salesforce preferred
  • Proficient in Excel & PPT
