Global Collection Manager

The Global Collection Manager will be responsible for overseeing the global collection teams, ensuring the efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts. This role requires working on the EST time zone from Israel and involves developing strategies to improve collection processes, managing a team of collectors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of debt collection practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Oversee and manage the global collection team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Set performance targets for the collection team and monitor their progress.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and address any issues.
- Develop and implement effective collection processes and strategies to ensure healthy DSO
- Ensure and monitor credit risk monitoring.
- Analyze and monitor accounts receivable portfolio to identify high-risk accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
Customer Communication:
- Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans when required.
- Handle escalated collection issues and disputes, ensuring a professional and customer-focused approach.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, performance metrics, and outstanding accounts.
- Conduct detailed analysis of collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Customer Service, and Legal, to ensure a coordinated approach to debt collection.
- Collaborate with external agencies and legal counsel as needed for complex collection cases.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all collection activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to debt collection and accounts receivable.
- Ensure SOX and other regulations compliance and provide supporting documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in debt collection, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on EST time zone from Israel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Netsuite as ERP – a plus
