Job Overview:
The Incentive Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the design, analysis, and administration of incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, and other variable compensation plans. As a key contributor to the HR function, the Incentive Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and management to ensure incentive structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals. The role will require strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of compensation principles, especially in incentive design and modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission Plan Structuring: Design, structure, and manage commission plans across the board, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Take full responsibility for all calculations, including setting individual quotas, determining payouts, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data related to incentive programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to track incentive effectiveness, trends, and payout accuracy.
- Program Evaluation: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of incentive plans, providing recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights and market benchmarks.
- Collaboration with Finance & HRBPs: Work closely with the finance team to ensure that incentive budgets are adhered. Partner with HRBPs to ensure incentives plans are well communicated and understood.
- Documentation & Communication: Create and maintain documentation for incentive plans, ensuring that they are clearly communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Support HR & C&B Initiatives: Assist the Compensation & Benefits team with broader compensation initiatives, including benchmark analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably with a focus on incentive or variable compensation.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience using HRIS systems and advanced Excel/ Google sheets functions.
- Familiarity with financial models, budgeting processes, and incentive design.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex incentive plans to non-HR professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems.
