Full Stack Software Engineer - Growth

Perplexity is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help revolutionize the way people search and interact online. In this role, you'll translate cutting-edge AI advances into tangible products for our users.

Tech Stack: NextJS | TypeScript | Python | Docker | AWS | Vercel

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Product, Design, and Data to ship experiments and learn

  • Launching new experiments, campaigns, and partnerships in a fast-moving environment

  • Analyzing performance metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

  • Building delightful and data-proven user journeys

  • Building core growth infrastructure such as notification platforms, ad attribution, and more

  • Building new 0-1 products at high scale

Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks

  • Good quantitative understanding of data and experimentation

  • Experience running A/B tests with experimentations platforms (Eppo, StatSig)

  • Experience with marketing technology platforms (Singular, Appsflyer)

  • A passion for shipping quality products

  • 4+ years of industry experience 

Our cash compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000.

To support our rapid expansion, we've raised significant funding from some of the most respected investors in technology. In January 2024, we raised $73.6 million in a Series B round led by IVP, with participation from NVIDIA, Jeff Bezos' investment fund, NEA, Databricks, and other prominent firms. We followed that up with a $62.7 million Series B1 round in April 2024 led by Daniel Gross, valuing Perplexity at over $1 billion.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. 
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
