Summary:
We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to play a pivotal role in transforming our financial operations. You will lead the customization, integration, and enhancement of our NetSuite system to meet the unique needs of our retail and wholesale apparel and fashion business. With your deep understanding of NetSuite's capabilities, you will seamlessly integrate various IT systems and third-party applications, ensuring our technology ecosystem is robust and efficient. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be key in driving our digital transformation forward. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver solutions that optimize our financial processes and support our business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain custom applications and integrations using the NetSuite platform.
- Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, and processes to optimize NetSuite functionality.
- Provide support and subject matter expertise to users, including employees, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Lead report writing and analytics efforts for company financial information.
- Integrate data and systems across the company.
- Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
- Document business objectives, use cases, requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions for NetSuite-related issues.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and operational reports for teams, managers, and executives.
- Ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of the NetSuite platform.
- Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business objectives.
- This is an in-office role, based at our Global Headquarters in Miami, Florida.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in deploying and maintaining NetSuite ERP systems.
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
- Strong hands-on SuiteScript experience for back-end customization.
- Extensive experience integrating various IT systems and third-party applications into NetSuite.
- Good knowledge of security features of NetSuite and the ability to manage these features.
- Proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting, creating dashboards, custom forms, and workflows.
- Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting.
- Experience with forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite.
- Experience generating reports and custom reporting within NetSuite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the retail and wholesale apparel fashion industry a plus.
