SUMMARY
Perry Ellis International is looking for an individual who is energetic, self-motivated and has a passion for providing excellent Customer Service to support the Golf division. This position is varied & not your traditional Wholesale Customer Service environment. The role is multifaceted and involves working with Golf Shop/Resort owners, Sales Representatives and various internal departments to support our golf division. We work in a true team environment with continued training and learning opportunities. It is a great way to learn about Perry Ellis and the A-Z of our business process flow.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists on and off course golf shops with any requests they may have such as processing orders, follow up on inquiries and complaints, checking stock availability, providing order status, invoices, tracking information, return authorizations and credits to ensure a smooth customer service experience.
- Support Sales Representatives and maintain good customer relationships. Manage order processing and schedules, account files, and documents to keep the team organized and updated.
- Email Management: review and reply to emails in a timely manner
- Call Center: answer incoming calls, return any missed calls in a timely manner
- Upload and validate orders from the order entry portal
- Act as liaison between the Sales Representative, the customer and the embroidery team to secure artwork and ensure logos are finalized and approved.
- Review open order reports to maintain order base integrity
- Works closely with the following departments on a daily basis: credit, shipping, billing, Invoicing and other essential back-office support, Sales Operations, Embroidery and the Warehouse
- Special Requests & Special Orders, including assistance with Tournament & Rush Orders
- Works closely with the VPs of Sales for Callaway & Original Penguin
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Proficient with Google Drive/Applications or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to express thoughts clearly and establish a good rapport with Team Members, Sales Representatives and Clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent sales skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to help ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time, including client accounts and reports that require accurate data.
- Strong analytical and sharp problem-solving abilities, able to resolve customer issues efficiently, effectively and coordinate with and assist the sales team with any obstacles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)
- AA Degree preferred
- Customer Service experience (retail, wholesale or call center)
- Person must speak fluent English (excellent phone, verbal, written skills).
