SUMMARY:
Lead the sales and profitability for the product category of Perry Ellis Men's Accessory Collections.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with merchandising and design to develop proper line assortment (belts, wallets, gifts, socks, pajamas).
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in selling accessory categories such as belts, wallets, gifts, socks, and pajamas, with a focus on aligning product offerings with current market trends and customer preferences.
- Develop specific account plans working with the retail planning team and sales manager
- Present product assortment and financial plan to retail customers. This is a hands on role working with Macy's
- Prepare sales contracts (buys) within accordance with the buying calendar and present this to production planning.
- Monitor retail sales information and adjust all models/sales with regards to all basic programs with the retail planning team and submit updated information to wholesale planning.
- Collect and review all pertinent retail sales information from accounts and updates all internal review forms and review this information with retail planning and sales managers. Develop strategies with regards to receipts, sales plans, and markdowns and communicate back to specific accounts.
- Monitor flow and on the hands of both fashion a loo and basic inventory with wholesale planning and make necessary recommendations to stay within stock plan budget
- Visit all retail accounts quarterly working with buying offices (including their planning dept.) to discuss current and future business as well as visiting their branch stores with Perry Ellis merchandise coordinator program and making necessary recommendations to the accounts as well as product feedback to Perry Ellis merchandise and design.
- Work with marketing departments to ensure brand image is consistent with set goals.
- Prepare and update all necessary financial documents regarding shipments, givebacks, and profitability when necessary (monthly) and forward to the division controller.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with a preference in business
- 5 + years of experience launching and building brands with profitable sales growth
- Experience working with department stores, particularly Macy’s or similar retail environments, is highly desirable.
- Experience leading high performing sales teams
- Experience building and executing strategic plans and marketing initiatives to drive profitable growth
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $120,000 - $135,000.
