SUMMARY
Perry Ellis International is seeking a friendly and organized individual to be the face of our company and provide essential support to our office operations. In this role, you will greet visitors, answer phones, manage mail and deliveries, order supplies, and assist with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supervising and completing front desk assignments
- Ensures that all Employees are using their badges to gain entry into the building
- Provides efficient customer service to executive staff and visitors
- Greets visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensures that all Visitors sign in on the Electronic Check-in Device
- Responds to inquiries from vendors and visitors on a regular basis
- Organizes the flow of work for the front desk and mail services
- Provides assistance to management staff by following through on a variety of requests
- Troubleshoots and resolves visitor issues
- Responsible for making decisions quickly, when necessary
- Alerts appropriate management personnel if aware of danger to employees/building
- Responds readily to the changing needs of the company
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Manage ink toner cartridge Inventory in the mail room
- Distributes mail as needed daily
- Meters mail when needed on a daily basis.
- Manage regular/legal size paper inventory for the Main Building
- Assists Housekeeping Manager in managing office supplies inventory.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of front desk protocol
- Knowledge of internal processes to supervise a front office receptionist staff
- Knowledge of processes to supervise a mailroom function
- Ability to work well with people at all levels in the company
- Skill in communicating effectively with visitors and staff members
- Ability to respond appropriately in a quick and efficient manner in case of danger
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Dogs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
-- Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve appropriately
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree or any equivalent experience
