SUMMARY:
The Associate Demand Planner executes sales and inventory plans on assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have a 1 - 3 years experience in retail/wholesale buying/planning or replenishment management. Applicant must be well organized, a self starter, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Account Exec and team leads as related to forecasting models at account level
- Determine style demand and inventory plans based on statistical forecasting inputs and historical trends
- Work with account teams to ensure forecasts and goals are set in account’s replenishment systems
- Participate in pre-season planning for Replenishment, Key Items, and Assortment building at account level
- Work with Demand Planning lead, Account Exec and Business Planning on monthly replenishment financial projections
- Pull in-stock and WOS data at style/color level and report business trends to monitor in-season trends and adjust plans as needed. Meet with Account Executive to discuss in season issues and opportunities.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed and fulfill other tasks as directed by management
COLLABORATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in pre-season planning for Replenishment, Key Items, and Assortment building at brand level with Merchandising and Sales

- Retail Math, Microsoft Excel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)
- Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalency in a related field
- 1-3 years retail/wholesale planning/buying experience
- Ability to analyze results and identify financial and merchandise solutions to improve performance
- Retail math knowledge and understanding
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player and self starter
- Ability to set priorities to accomplish task at hand
- Ability to travel to other company facilities and accounts as needed
