Summary:  The Digital E-commerce Planner develops, executes and maintains sales, margin and inventory plans with pure play e-commerce accounts in order to grow and develop PEI brands in this channel of sales and distribution.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Analyze E-commerce business by account, category and brand to drive growth 
  • Review weekly sales results for each account.  Monitor plans and OTD pricing, making callouts where necessary to maximize sales.
  • Create assortment recommendations prior to each market.
  • Work closely with each account/brand to determine size scales.
  • Provide unit projections for replenishment and key items that align with demand and financial goals
  • Pull in-stock and WOS data at style/color level and report business trends to monitor in-season trends and adjust plans as needed. 
  • Work with Sales and the Design/Merchandise group on a monthly/quarterly basis to share selling information, category information, sku count recommendation, and opportunities for the following season.
  • Meet with Sales on a regular basis to discuss issues and opportunities.
  • Provide receipt flow and selling as needed to the E-commerce Site Check team.
  • Work with supply chain planning when placing buys to leverage tag-ons and ecom packing and mitigate special project costs

Collaborative Responsibilities:

  • Work with Account and ECOM teams, Demand and Business Planning teams to set and achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals
  • Collaborate with Account and ECOM teams, Marketing and Merchandising to align cross-functional objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounts are promoting and highlighting items that deserve high visibility
  • Work closely with the internal E-commerce team to keep up with best business practices and understand KPI metrics.

 

  • Requirements:
  • High level of understanding of retail math, Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and solve both financial and merchandise issues.
  • Be a self starter
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to set priorities to accomplish task at hand
  • Amazon experience is strongly preferred.
