Position Summary:

As the Administrative Assistant, Trims- TEMP, you will be responsible for executing a crucial restructuring of our extensive Trim Sample Library. This role is pivotal for transitioning the library from its current state into an accurate, easily navigable, and compliant resource, directly impacting the efficiency of our design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Binder Preparation: Accurately pull existing trim samples and their corresponding artwork/specification sheets from protective sheets across 50+ binders.
  2. Sample Processing & Securing: Carefully select and remove only one piece of the trim sample, then securely staple it to its corresponding artwork/specification sheet.
  3. Filing & Order Integrity: Three-hole punch the updated sheets and re-file them in strict chronological order into the respective binders.
  4. Labeling & Maintenance: Ensure proper and consistent labeling is applied to the outside of all completed binders and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  5. Disposal: Properly dispose of all remaining excess samples after selection.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven ability to learn new processes quickly and rigidly adhere to specific, detailed instructions.
  2. Reliable and capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision.
  3. Prior experience with detailed filing systems, library organization, or inventory management is a plus.

Personal Attributes:

  1. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are a must.
  2. Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in a repetitive task environment.
  3. Excellent time management skills to complete the project efficiently within the temporary timeframe.
