Position Summary:
As the Senior Account Executive for Golf Lifestyle, you will lead the wholesale expansion of our high-growth Loungewear, Hosiery, Accessories, and Belts categories for two of the most iconic names in golf: Callaway® and PGA TOUR®. Based in our New York City showroom and reporting directly to the President of Golf, you will be responsible for managing a multi-tiered distribution strategy. This role requires a versatile sales leader capable of navigating diverse market levels—from luxury and premium department stores to mass-market retailers —ensuring the brand's vision is executed across every consumer touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Tier Distribution Management: Strategically manage and grow business across a wide spectrum of retail tiers, including Premier Department Stores, Mid-Tier Retailers, National Sporting Goods chains.
- Brand Ownership (Callaway & PGA TOUR): Serve as the lead sales strategist for loungewear, hosiery, and belts, ensuring product assortments are tailored to meet the specific price points and aesthetic needs of each distribution tier.
- Direct Executive Reporting: Partner closely with the President of Golf to execute a unified vision for the Golf Division, providing high-level analysis on category growth and multi-channel market penetration.
- Strategic Sales & Distribution: Proactively pitch and secure placement with a broad account base (e.g., Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Kohls), maintaining brand integrity while maximizing volume.
- Showroom Excellence: Lead seasonal presentations in our NYC showroom, utilizing high-impact storytelling to showcase technical innovation and lifestyle appeal to a diverse range of buying teams.
- Financial & Budgetary Oversight: Manage the full P&L for your assigned categories, including seasonal forecasting, complex retail math analysis, and the achievement of aggressive gross margin targets across all tiers.
- Inventory & Assortment Planning: Work with planning teams to develop tier-specific product capsules, ensuring the right product is in the right channel at the right price.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5–8 years of wholesale sales experience in apparel accessories, hosiery, or loungewear. Experience managing diverse tiers of distribution (Mass, Mid-Tier, and Premium) is essential.
- Education: A 4-year college degree is required.
- Location: Must be based in the Greater NYC area with the ability to work from our Manhattan showroom.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the licensed brand landscape and a proven track record of selling into various retail levels simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of retail math (turn, sell-through, markups) and proficiency in Google Workspace and ERP sales systems.
