SUMMARY
Coordinate daily activities of workers concerned with the receiving, replenishing, picking, processing, and packing customer orders. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist department manager by identifying work procedures in a priority manner and expedite workflow. 
• Ability to prioritize workflow and communicate priorities effectively with distribution employees. 
• Identify workload of all given areas and shift personnel to areas where additional personnel is needed. 
• Issue written and oral instructions. 
• Must be able to recognize sensitive business and personnel issues and maintain those issues with the utmost confidence.

-On the fly decision making for new information presented. 

• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers. 
• Monitor employees productivity, efficiency and accuracy of all processes. 
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instruction. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of management. 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions both oral and written. 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Understanding of warehouse operations and product flow
Adaptability to new technology and processes
Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues via solid analytical and decision making skills
Ability to supervise warehouse personnel reporting directly to warehouse management
Ability to partner with peer management to drive resolution of issues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)

Five or more years related experience and/or training in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Associate's degree (A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.A) preferred. Strong computer skills, Excel required, PKMS and Essentus preferred.
