The Role
We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a dynamic, data-driven Strategy Sr. Manager to both own strategy and performance of our core membership offering, PetfolkCare, and actively support broader cross-functional initiatives.
As Strategy Sr. Manager, you will be the day-to-day owner of PetfolkCare’s performance, responsible for driving continuous optimization. You will surface insights, introduce hypotheses, and work across teams to drive adoption, engagement, and retention.
This is a strategy role built for execution, combining excellence in business problem solving / data analytics with a keen ability to drive alignment and action across teams. You will work closely with functional teams across Medical, Ops, L&D, Marketing, Product, and Engineering in order to drive continual improvement. You will also work closely with the VP of Strategy & Corp Dev on high-priority initiatives such as pricing, partnerships, and capital strategy.
What You’ll Do
PetfolkCare Strategy & Performance
- Day-to-day owner of the core PetfolkCare membership program - adoption, engagement, and retention
- Proactively develop insights across all areas of the program (both pet parent and internally-facing)
- Translate insights into hypotheses, and develop clear improvement levers in partnership with functional teams
- Partner with teams to project manage the implementation of improvement initiatives
- Track and measure progress over time, ensuring follow-through and iteration with stakeholders
- Drive overall plan design and pricing for PetfolkCare and related core services
- Model economic impact of potential modifications to inform relative benefit vs. associated cost
Strategic Initiatives
- Build business cases and economic rationale around new initiatives
- Execute projects across functions, actively soliciting input from multiple stakeholders and holding the project team accountable to timelines while keeping the organization well informed
- Depending on experience, assist in corporate development and capital markets initiatives
Who You Are
- 3-5+ years in strategy consulting, implementation consulting, investment banking, or BizOps roles at high-growth companies
- A self-starter with the drive and ability to tackle challenging, often ambiguous problems
- Deep analytical rigor, with the ability to effectively sift through large data sets to identify the most important elements
- Strong ability to synthesize analysis and effectively communicate key insights to both executive and functional teams
- A desire to bring your strategies to life. You will have a unique opportunity to translate strategy into action through managing programs requiring you to collaborate with and support team members as you collectively enact initiatives and ensure their success post-launch
- Exceptionally organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slides
Nice to Have
- Exposure to service-based business models, particularly around multi-site businesses / provider-based healthcare, and / or exposure to membership / subscription models
- Familiarity with accessing and working with data from Looker / SQL / Tableau
