Senior Analyst II
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst II will be responsible for developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and SQL programming to support clinical data management and analysis. This role requires a strong technical background, a good understanding of various clinical trial domains, and expertise in data management, including discrepancy management. The successful candidate will analyze dashboard requirements based on Case Report Forms (CRFs) and protocol information to ensure accurate and efficient data handling for clinical studies. - Tableau Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to visualize clinical trial data and support decision-making processes.
- SQL Programming: Create, manage, and optimize SQL databases and queries to store, retrieve, and analyze clinical trial data efficiently.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze study requirements, Case Report Forms (CRFs), and protocol information to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
- Discrepancy Management: Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clinical teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of clinical trial data through rigorous data validation and quality control processes.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all data management and analysis processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted data flow and analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization, database management, and clinical data management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline.
- 5-years proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Excel for data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database management and programming.
- Good understanding of various clinical trial domains and data management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clinical teams and stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Other Required:
- Established experience and fluency in the Microsoft Office package of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with clinical trial data and regulatory requirements.
- Certification in data management or related fields
Skills:
- Demonstrates solid interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates, or can be trained and retain a working knowledge of ICH-GCP, and relevant Precision SOPs and regulatory guidance.
