Head of Marketing

About Phaidra

Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation.

The world today is filled with static, monolithic infrastructure. Factories, power plants, buildings, etc. operate the same they've operated for decades — because the controls programming is hard-coded. Thousands of lines of rules and heuristics that define how the machines interact with each other. The result of all this hard-coding is that facilities are frozen in time, unable to adapt to their environment while their performance slowly degrades.

Phaidra creates AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling industrial facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Specifically:

  • We use reinforcement learning algorithms to provide this intelligence, converting raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions.
  • We focus on industrial applications, which tend to be well-sensorized with measurable KPIs — perfect for reinforcement learning.
  • We enable domain experts (our users) to configure the AI control systems (i.e. agents) without writing code. They define what they want their AI agents to do, and we do it for them.

Our team has a track record of applying AI to some of the toughest problems. From achieving superhuman performance with DeepMind's AlphaGo, to reducing the energy required to cool Google's Data Centers by 40%, we deeply understand AI and how to apply it in production for massive impact.

Phaidra’s ability to achieve its mission is determined by our ability to work together — as defined by our core values: TransparencyCollaborationOperational ExcellenceOwnership, and Empathy. We seek individuals who embody these values, as they are instrumental in ensuring our team consistently delivers excellence and fosters an engaging and supportive culture

Phaidra is based in the USA, but we are 100% remote with no physical office. We hire employees internationally with the help of our partner, OysterHR. Our team is currently located throughout the USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, and India.

  • Support refinement and execution of Phaidra’s AI factory go-to-market strategy, positioning Phaidra as the strategic AI partner of choice.
  • Build the marketing function from the ground up, including processes, tools, budgeting, reporting, and frameworks for future hires, working closely with the Design team to ensure scaleable, cohesive branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Track, report on, and optimize marketing performance using data-driven KPIs.
  • Position Phaidra as a must-have solution for AI factory build-outs, reinforcing value to enterprise executives.

Positioning & Messaging

  • Translate complex technical capabilities—including reinforcement learning–powered control systems—into clear, compelling messaging for CEOs, CTOs, COOs, and operations leaders.
  • Establish Phaidra as a thought leader in AI-driven industrial optimization and infrastructure efficiency.
  • Own Phaidra’s narrative, including AI factories, Blackwell-era infrastructure, and tokens per watt, ensuring messaging resonates with technical and operational audiences.
  • Collaborate with Design to create visually engaging content and materials that bring Phaidra’s technical value propositions to life.
  • Work with Product Development, Solutions, and Design to bring high-value AI factory use cases to market (e.g., energy efficiency, cooling optimization, power utilization, reliability, performance).

  • Turn long-form content into executive thought leadership and social content, leveraging Design to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Lead product launches, use-case storytelling, and customer proof points, ensuring alignment with Design for cohesive brand experiences.
  • Own and evolve Phaidra’s public image, including LinkedIn presence, website, media relations, and analyst engagement.

  • Alignment with Phaidra’s values: transparency, collaboration, operational excellence, ownership, and empathy.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience marketing complex systems at the intersection of software, hardware, and physical infrastructure, including data centers, energy, industrial automation, or climate tech.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
