Clinical Data Support Intern

As we grow, we’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented interns to support our data infrastructure and clinical operations.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Clinical Data Support Intern to assist in identifying, sourcing, and organizing public clinical datasets, as well as helping maintain and update internal dashboards that support client-facing and internal analytics workflows.
This is a great opportunity for a student with interests in clinical research, public health data, data science, or health informatics to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.
Responsibilities
- Dataset Identification & Research: Search for and catalog public datasets (clinical trials, EHRs, registries, RWE, etc.) that align with our current project needs.
- Data Curation: Perform light preprocessing, annotation, or tagging of data files (e.g., filtering, basic cleanup, or format standardization).
- Dashboard Support: Assist in maintaining, validating, and updating visual dashboards using tools such as Google Sheets or internal tools.
- Documentation: Keep accurate notes of data variables/endpoints data sources, access protocols, and usage constraints.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Communicate findings and updates clearly to scientific, product, and business teams.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field: Medical, Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Science, or related.
- Familiarity with clinical research concepts (e.g., clinical trials, RWE, endpoints, protocols) is a plus.
- Experience working with public data sources (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA, EMA, PubMed, WHO, etc.) is preferred.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel); experience with dashboard tools is a plus.
- Strong internet/AI research and documentation skills.
- Self-starter, organized, and curious about the intersection of clinical research and technology.
Commitment & Compensation
- Time Commitment: ~10–15 hours per week
- Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for extension
- Compensation: Paid internship
