Recruiter (f/m/d) 80-100%

Technopark Lucerne, Switzerland

PHENOGY AG is a leading innovator of battery energy storage technologies and applications for the green electrification of the planet. Our team members work on future-proof and truly sustainable battery systems that are powerful, safe, and robust – with circularity as a central principle. In addition to Exentis Group AG, a leading provider of an additive manufacturing platform for large-scale industrial production, the technology partner network also includes selected institutes of the Fraunhofer Battery Alliance.

PHENOGY is an environmentally and socially conscious enterprise. We are committed to fostering prosperity for the people and our planet, ensuring truly sustainable growth – starting in the area of our greatest expertise and impact: energy storage solutions.

We energize the future.

PHENOGY is seeking curious, entrepreneurial-minded energy pioneers to help shape our vision, systems, and growth; playing a key-role as we launch into our ambitious future. If you’re inspired by our mission, values, and drive to change how we energize the future — we’d love your application.

Our amazing global People & Organization team is looking to expand its team and competencies: We are seeking an experienced Recruiter (f/m/d) to own and continuously improve the end-to-end recruitment process for technical, engineering, and professional-level roles across PHENOGY AG's European operations, mainly in Switzerland and Germany. This role goes beyond requisition management, it requires someone who actively drives the recruiting process forward, identifies and removes bottlenecks, and ensures alignment between hiring needs, interview teams, and candidate experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical recruiting capability with process discipline, creativity, and a genuine passion for delivering a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience. And, of course, ensuring the candidate's mindset fit and alignment with our company values.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment Ownership
    • Own and actively drive the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through offer acceptance
    • Identify inefficiencies, delays, or breakdowns in the hiring process and proactively implement solutions
    • Maintain momentum across multiple open roles while balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder alignment
  • Hiring Manager & Interview Team Alignment
    • Partner closely with hiring managers to define clear, realistic job requirements and success criteria
    • Ensure interview teams are aligned on role expectations, evaluation criteria, and decision-making standards
    • Coach interviewers on effective, role-relevant interviewing practices to support accurate hiring decisions
  • Technical & Professional Hiring
    • Recruit for technical and professional roles including engineering, technical specialists, project managers, and other experienced professional profiles
    • Conduct mindset fit interviews and support with structured, competency-based interviews with a strong focus on role relevance and technical depth
    • Ensure candidate assessments reflect both current role needs and longer-term organizational fit
  • Sourcing Strategy & Creative Execution
    • Design and execute creative, market-relevant sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and competitive roles
    • Proactively source through LinkedIn, Swiss and regional job platforms, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach
    • Continuously test and refine sourcing approaches based on results and labor market conditions
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
    • Be a strong advocate for the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
    • Ensure clear communication, transparency, and professionalism at every stage of the candidate journey
    • Represent the organization authentically and positively in all candidate interactions
  • Process, Data & Compliance
    • Ensure recruiting practices comply with Swiss and German labor law, GDPR, and internal policies
    • Continuously improve our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) and maintain accurate and timely data
    • Monitor recruiting metrics (time-to-hire, candidate drop-off, source effectiveness) to inform continuous improvement

Must have's

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within Switzerland or the DACH region
  • Experience with some form of mindset fit interview
  • Proven experience recruiting technical and engineering roles, along with other professional-level positions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and improve recruiting processes, not just execute them
  • Strong experience partnering with hiring managers and cross-functional interview teams
  • Ability to represent the company and its mindset authentically during all candidate communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German proficiency strongly preferred
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, technology, energy, life sciences, or industrial environments

Nice to have's

  • Experience with mindset fit interviews
  • Knowledge of PV systems and renewable energy integration
  • Experience working in industries such as automotive, industrial electronics, or grid storage
  • Familiarity with standards and regulatory frameworks related to battery systems and high-voltage systems
  • Experience with project management in collaboration with research institutions and industry partners
