Phenogy is a dynamic, fast-growing company specializing in innovative energy storage solutions. We develop, manufacture, and distribute advanced energy storage systems worldwide.

As Head of IT, you will ensure that Phenogy's IT-Technology foundation is secure, reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting rapid international growth. You will own the company's core IT operations, infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, workplace technology, and service delivery.

This role focuses on operational excellence and business enablement. You will ensure that employees, strategic partners on the supply-chain as well as on the sales-channel side, manufacturing operations, and commercial teams can work effectively through robust technology platforms while maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and service quality.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Define and execute Phenogy's global IT roadmap, ensuring stable and scalable technology operations across Switzerland, Germany, the United States, Singapore and future locations
• Own enterprise applications and business systems, including ERP, collaboration platforms, identity management, endpoint management, and future MES integrations
• Establish and maintain secure, cloud-based infrastructure and workplace technology environments that support global collaboration and operational continuity
• Lead cybersecurity, information security, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and compliance initiatives aligned with industry best practices and future certifications
• Manage external IT service providers, technology vendors, MSPs, and cybersecurity partners while ensuring service quality, performance, and cost efficiency
• Build and lead the internal IT organization, including IT Operations, Service Management, and Cybersecurity capabilities, while defining future sourcing and staffing strategies
• Establish IT governance, service management processes, SLAs, asset management, and operational KPIs to support a growing international organization
• Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, PMO, Quality, Finance, and Commercial functions to ensure technology effectively supports business execution

Must have's:

• Several years of leadership experience in IT, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, or Technology Operations within manufacturing, industrial, energy, or technology-driven environments
• Strong experience managing enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, networks, and global technology operations
• Experience implementing and supporting ERP environments and business-critical systems
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage external service providers, technology vendors, and outsourcing partners
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable technology solutions
• Professional fluency in English; German a plus

Nice to have's:

• Experience supporting international manufacturing operations and global supply chains
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, MES environments, or industrial IoT integrations
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, TISAX, or similar security frameworks
• Experience scaling technology operations in high-growth organizations
• Exposure to renewable energy, battery systems, or industrial technology environments

Location: Technopark Lucerne Switzerland or Germany with remote and home-office opportunities
