The Finance Manager will play a central role in shaping the financial foundation of our fastgrowing scaleup. As the company expands, this position will grow into a broader role with increasing strategic and operational responsibility. Working closely with the finance leadership at our Swiss headquarters, you will help establish a structured, reliable, and futureproof financial environment that supports sustainable growth and sound decisionmaking. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and taking ownership in a dynamic, international setting. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Lead daytoday Finance & Controlling operations and ensure fully HGBcompliant bookkeeping, reporting, and documentation. 
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and an in annual closing activities handson, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in cooperation with Swiss headquarter. 
  • Build and continuously improve controlling structures (KPIs, cost tracking, variance analysis) and ensure transparency for all stakeholders. 
  • Manage liquidity and cash flow in a very operational way, including banking coordination and shortterm financial planning. 
  • Coordinate audits, tax filings, and statutory requirements together with external partners and advisors. 
  • Support implementation and execution of the group's transfer pricing framework and ensure local compliance and coordinate intercompany transactions, reconciliations and reporting with sister companies and headquarters. 
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and riskmanagement routines suited for a fastgrowing scaleup. 
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic and operational decisions. 
  • Build scalable finance processes, workflows, and tools — from invoice handling to reporting automation — and continuously improve efficiency as the organization grows. 
  • Coordinate contract-, insurance- and legal management together with external advisors. 

 

What You Bring 

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, or a related commercial role. 
  • Proficient in HGB and IFRS accounting standards, including financial statement preparation 
  • Experience working in an international group structure with multiple legal entities 
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, liquidity planning, and financial reporting  
  • Ability to manage financial and administrative collaboration with external tax/accounting partners  
  • Structured, reliable working style with high ownership and accuracy  
  • Fluent in German and English 

 

What Else is Helpful 

  • Experience in startup/scaleup environments or building processes from scratch up/scaleup environments or building processes from scratch  
  • Financial modeling experience. 
  • Knowledge of energy, clean tech, or projectdriven businesses. 
  • Experience with ERP and finance systems, preferably MS Dynamics 365 Business Central 

Location: Bremen, Germany 

Travel Readiness: 10%

Reports to: Managing Director in Bremen and CFO at our Headquarters
