We are looking for a data-driven and curious Sales Operations & CRM Specialist to help build scalable sales processes and support our commercial teams with reliable data and insights.
In this role, you will combine hands-on CRM and sales operations work with targeted sales intelligence activities, such as lead research and market analysis. You will work at the intersection of sales operations, CRM, and data, ensuring a strong operational backbone while contributing to better pipeline quality and more informed sales decisions.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Create and maintain standard reports and KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline velocity, forecasting accuracy). Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for the Head of Sales and C-level management
- Process Automation & Enablement: Train the sales team on CRM best practices and sales intelligence tools. Automate administrative tasks to ensure the sales team can focus on client relationships
- CRM Ownership & Optimization: Act as the ultimate owner of our CRM platform. Design, implement, and optimize sales workflows, pipelines, and reporting dashboards tailored to long-cycle B2B infrastructure sales
- Data Hygiene: Ensure high data quality, GDPR compliance, and seamless integration between the CRM, marketing automation tools, and the ERP system
- Sales Intelligence & Lead Enrichment: Proactively identify and profile potential B2B clients (e.g., renewable energy developers, grid operators, commercial & industrial enterprises). Use external tools (like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or industry databases) to feed the sales pipeline with qualified insights
- Market Research & Opportunity Mapping: Identify and analyze energy infrastructure projects (e.g., wind and solar parks) to uncover new sales opportunities
- In close coordination with Marketing department: Market & Competitor Monitoring: Track market developments, policy changes in the renewable sector, and competitor movements to identify new business opportunities or risks
Must have's:
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Intelligence, or CRM Management, ideally within a B2B environment (B2B SaaS, renewable energy, manufacturing, or heavy tech)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with major CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Capability to analyze large datasets. Advanced Excel skills are appreciated; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL is highly desirable
- Interest in renewable energy, battery storage, or electrical grids. Previous experience in the green energy sector is a distinct advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English skills. You can translate complex data into simple, convincing narratives for sales reps and executives alike
Nice to have's:
- Knowledge of tender processes, buying signals, or technicalcommercial sales cycles
- Experience in startup/scaleup environments or building processes from scratch
- Familiarity with cost drivers in BESS projects (BESS CAPEX, BOS, EMS, EPC models)
- Ability to build small dashboards, reports, or forecasting models independently
Location: Bremen, Germany - alternatively, we are also filling this position at our on-site location in Technopark Lucerne, Switzerland.
Travel Readiness: ca. 5% within EMEA
