POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Quantitative Analyst will be a member of the analytics team within Football Operations. This position will expose candidates to all parts of the modern NFL front office, including player evaluation, game preparation, resource allocation, sports science, and player development. A good candidate will be able to work with football data to draw insights and improve decision-making. Applicants should have the quantitative skills to analyze complex problems and the technical ability to implement their ideas effectively. We expect applicants to have a good foundation in statistical modeling.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

 

The Quantitative Analyst – Football Operations will report to the Senior Director and Directors of the Football Analytics team.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in statistics and machine learning.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability (ideally in sports-related problems).
  • Proficient with data management and analysis in statistical software (R, Python, SQL).
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong passion for football.
