POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for leading creative strategy and executing the visual identity of the organization, ensuring cohesive, innovative, and impactful branding across all communications. This role partners closely with cross-functional departments to conceptualize, design, and implement compelling visual assets that elevate the brand experience across both digital and physical environments, including the Jefferson Health Training Complex and Lincoln Financial Field. In addition to core design responsibilities, this role supports photography and content production through art direction at photoshoots, capturing and curating brand-driven imagery, and executing high-quality photo editing and retouching to ensure visual consistency across all platforms and experiences.

The Senior Graphic Designer serves as a creative leader within the organization, driving high-level design execution while maintaining brand integrity across campaigns, events, partnerships, and internal initiatives. This role also provides mentorship to junior team members, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous growth within the design team.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

 

The Senior Graphic Designer will report to the Graphic Design Director within the Marketing Department.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Creative Concepting & Execution

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute high-level creative across a variety of mediums, including pitch presentations, print collateral, digital advertising, print publications, web graphics, email campaigns, environmental signage, social media content, photoshoots, and branded experiences, with experience in art directing photoshoots and producing high-quality photo edits and retouching to maintain elevated brand standards across all visual touchpoints.


Brand Leadership & Management

  • Champion and uphold brand standards across all internal and external touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging, design systems, typography, photography, and visual identity.
  • Continuously elevate the organization’s creative standards and visual presence through thoughtful design and brand innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and strategic priorities.
  • Help evolve and maintain brand systems, templates, and creative resources for organization-wide use.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with departments including Marketing, Partnerships, Communications, Community Relations, Events, Ticketing, Corporate Sponsorship, and Operations to support business objectives through compelling visual design.
  • Present creative concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining creative integrity.
  • Support organization-wide campaigns, gameday experiences, internal communications, and special events at both the Jefferson Health Training Complex and Lincoln Financial Field.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and provide direction to junior and mid-level designers by reviewing work, offering constructive feedback, and encouraging professional development.
  • Help establish best practices, workflows, and creative processes to improve efficiency and quality across the team.
  • Serve as a trusted creative resource and thought partner across departments.

Production & Project Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, printers, freelancers, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of creative deliverables.
  • Stay informed on emerging design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance creative output.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–8+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, agency, media, or brand-driven environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, photography, photo editing, campaign development, digital and print design, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, familiarity with Figma and After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, production processes, and digital design best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
