Job Description
The Organizational Intern, International Scouting will support the Coordinator, International Scouting, in various tasks that will give the intern firsthand exposure and a deep understanding of our operations. We seek a driven individual willing to contribute to the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Coordinator in a variety of tasks and projects as requested.
- Manage recurring tasks such as organizing the monthly calendar and spreadsheets with information.
- Support with organizing travel logistics for our scouts and players of interest.
- Administrate and ensure our internal systems are updated with the latest information.
- Communicate well within the department and with other departments within the organization.
- Organize and participate in meetings as necessary and draft summaries.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Required
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience as an athlete or administrator in baseball or softball at the professional or collegiate level
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to solve problems in a timely fashion manner and a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish speaking skills are valued.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
