Minor League Assistant Pitching Coach
JOB TITLE: Minor League Assistant Pitching Coach (Stateside)

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
The Philadelphia Phillies are seeking a Stateside Minor League Assistant Pitching Coach for the 2026 Championship season. This position will serve as a uniformed coach with the responsibility of executing the organization’s pitching philosophy and individual player plans at one of our domestic affiliates. The ideal candidate will combine strong on-field coaching skills with an ability to leverage technology, data, and collaboration to support player development across all levels of the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design and execute daily pitching practice plans.
- Collaborate with pitching leadership to design and execute individualized player plans.
- Utilize data, analytics, and video to identify trends, strengths, and opportunities for development.
- Coach through a constraints-led approach that builds adaptable, athletic throwers and encourages player ownership in problem-solving.
- Integrate information from technologies such as TrackMan, Rapsodo, Edgertronic, and TruMedia to inform player feedback and planning.
- Collaborate with medical, strength and conditioning, and performance science departments to optimize health, workload management, and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous deployment and improvement of pitching processes, systems, and documentation across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Former professional or collegiate playing or coaching experience.
- Relevant experience coaching high-level pitchers in a private facility is also acceptable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply data and technology in a development setting.
- Familiarity with modern baseball analytics and tools such as TrackMan, Rapsodo, Edgertronic, and TruMedia.
- Understanding of movement quality, strength, and biomechanical development.
- Intrinsically motivated, reliable, and committed to a growth mindset.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly with players and staff.
Desired:
- Bachelor’s or Technical Degree.
- Experience with biomechanical data and application in skill development.
- Experience in professional baseball player development environments.
