Internship Summary
Are you looking for an internship that provides real life experience?
Phoenix Contact’s IT Team is looking for an IT Service Desk Summer 2025 Intern to support covering the Service Desk phones. The intern will create tickets from the phone calls and process the emailed in tickets. Once trained and familiar with the systems, you can troubleshoot and resolve the problems. During the time on-site, you will have opportunities to shadow other technicians to work hands-on for ticket resolution and other projects.

There is a possibility this internship can continue into Fall 2025 (part time).
What does a typical day look like?
Supporting the IT team with various tasks including but not limited to- covering the Service Desk phone and creating tickets. This also includes tickets that are emailed in. Once trained and familiar with the systems, you can troubleshoot and resolve the problems.

Qualifications
- Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related major
- Must be student during duration of internship
- IT related coursework
Essential Job Functions
- Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (2-4 hours at a time)
- Comply with company dress code guidelines
