What does a typical day look like?

  • Morning Check-In: Start your day by reviewing ongoing projects, assignments, and deadlines. This helps you prioritize tasks and stay organized.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates, brainstorm ideas, and align objectives. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and learn from experienced designers.
  • Client Interactions: Work with clients to understand their needs and objectives. This involves gathering feedback, presenting design concepts, and ensuring that the final product meets their expectations.
  • Design Work: Spend a significant portion of your day working on design projects. This could include creating graphics, layouts, and other visual content using design software.
  • Feedback and Revisions: Review feedback from team members and clients and make necessary revisions to your designs. This iterative process helps improve the quality of your work.
  • Learning and Development: Take time to learn new design techniques, tools, and trends. This could involve attending workshops, watching tutorials, or experimenting with new design ideas.
  • End-of-Day Review: Wrap up your day by reviewing what you've accomplished, updating your progress on projects, and planning for the next day.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Currently majoring in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digitial Media, Multimedia Design or Animation and Graphic Design   
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Typography, Color Theory & Layout and Composition.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Precision in design work and ability to spot errors.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
  • Coursework in Graphic Design, Digital Imaging, Web Design, Branding and Identity and Portfolio Development
  • Must be a student during duration of internship

Must Be Able To

  • Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (2-4 hours at a time)
  • Work in office 100% of time
