Business Operations Coordinator
The selected candidate will be employed by E-Mobility Inc, a Phoenix Contact Company.
Job Summary
The Business Operations Coordinator – E-Mobility will play a crucial role helping to manage the financial and operational aspects of Phoenix Contact’s E-Mobility business, including but not limited to assisting with bookkeeping with our team in Europe they will handle project bids, and shipping & logistics. This position will work independently, as part of a global team, and with external parties including customers, brokers, and suppliers in our SAP system.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate financial records and performs regular bookkeeping activities for Phoenix Contact’s E-Mobility business.
- Coordinates and prepares Phoenix Contact E-Mobility project bids and proposals.
- Acts as the in-house expert on OEM bidding portal; submits and shepherds Phoenix Contact E-Mobility project bids and corresponding documentation through OEM established system(s) and processes.
- Tracks and monitors EDIs with OEM and other Phoenix Contact E-Mobility customers.
- Coordinates E-Mobility supply chain activities with Phoenix Contact subsidiaries, external suppliers, brokers, and customers.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for brokers and customers related to shipping & logistics; Maintains up to date knowledge of tariffs.
- Other duties as assigned by one’s Manager.
Qualifications
- Finance, etc.
- 3 (+) years of relevant experience preferred, including business operations, finance, etc.
- Experience working with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information in a highly professional and confidential manner.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management principles.
- Understanding of international shipping regulations and logistics preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while performing simultaneous tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft applications, etc.).
Essential Job Functions
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Regular and on-time attendance.
