Job Description
PhonePe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our Personal Loan Lending team. This role will be crucial in forging and managing strategic alliances with banks and NBFCs to build a robust lending platform. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building trusted client relationships, and delivering scalable revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sales and growth initiatives for consumer lending business.
- Evaluate and forge alliances with financial institutions (banks/NBFCs) to cater to the platform’s supply requirement
- Work closely with the category team to identify partner funnel issues improving SRs
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion through effective product, policy and data science interventions.
- Manage the governance of the account , planning monthly numbers along with category team, tracking repayments and collections of the portfolio closely
- Drive Prod/Eng tracks which are growth enablers for business expansion
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in driving enterprise partnerships, managing high-value accounts, and executing strategic initiatives across the fintech and lending ecosystem.
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities, build trusted client relationships, and deliver scalable revenue outcomes.
- Adept at stakeholder communication, solution-based selling, and navigating complex deal cycles in fast-moving environments.
- Strong understanding of the lending landscape and digital lending innovations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- MBA is preferred.
