Purpose of the role
Pico Global is seeking a well-organized and responsible professional to assume a position Paralegal within its global Legal team. You will be part of a dynamic global Legal team. This role supports numerous areas across the organisation and represents a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and make your mark at an exciting Fintech.
Responsibilities and duties (include but not limited to)
- Preparing, negotiating, and advising on commercial and corporate documents (attorney supervised) such as NDAs, heads of terms, statements of work, order forms, standard terms, and conditions of business with third parties, minutes/resolutions, due diligence summaries, and corporate certificates.
- Completing form agreements and detailed exhibits, schedules, and appendices.
- Preparing, reviewing, and summarising legal agreement terms.
- Developing and implementing organizational and management processes and procedures for consistent production, execution, storage, and management of company agreements, including assisting with the implementation of technology-based solutions to maximize operational efficiency, including implementation of a contracts management system.
- Implementing new propositions and policies and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Assisting with transactions and company-wide projects to ensure business and enterprise-wide initiatives are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performing due diligence related to clients and vendors, including AML verification checks as well as due diligence in the context of corporate transactions.
- Providing high quality and timely legal administrative support to the Legal team.

- Demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented mindset by anticipating challenges, identifying root causes and taking initiative to resolve issues before the escalate
- Outlook (including email and scheduling), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Highly desirable:
- Knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Experience of corporate and/or finance transactions.
- Experience in the APAC region.
- Knowledge of contract management tools.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree, with preferred course work in finance and business administration.
Working Arrangements
This is a Hybrid position with [weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home]. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
