Position Summary

Pico is seeking a commercially focused Market Services Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth across the Americas. This role partners closely with Sales Directors, Sales Engineers, Product Management, and Regional Sales Leadership to develop go-to-market strategies, build pipeline, support complex opportunities, and accelerate deal closure. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in trading infrastructure services including:  hosting, connectivity, device management, timing services, exchange services, market data, etc with a strong track record of supporting enterprise sales. Acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, this individual will serve as the commercial subject matter expert for Market Services solutions while helping shape growth strategies and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Sales Execution

  • Partner with Sales Directors to identify opportunities, build pipeline, and drive revenue growth across Market Services offerings.
  • Participate directly in customer meetings, executive briefings, and strategic sales engagements.
  • Support opportunity qualification, account planning, proposal development, and deal strategy.
  • Help advance and close complex opportunities involving infrastructure solutions, connectivity, market data, exchange services, managed services, timing services, cloud services, etc.
  • Carry revenue objectives aligned to Market Services growth goals.

 Product & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with Product Management to align commercial strategy with product priorities and market demand.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to influence business strategy.
  • Support product launches, pricing, packaging, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Act as the central point of contact to drive sales campaigns.
  • Develop value propositions, sales plays, and target market strategies.

 Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the Market Services subject matter expert for the sales organization.
  • Enable Sales Directors through training (and coordination with the broader team in training), sales materials, competitive positioning, and customer use cases.
  • Partner with regional Heads of Sales to establish growth plans and strategic priorities.
  • Global coordination and collaboration with focused support for the Americas Sales Team.

 Partnership with Sales Engineering

  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to deliver comprehensive business and technical solutions.
  • Lead commercial strategy, customer value articulation, and business case development while Sales Engineers lead technical design and architecture.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across Sales, Product, Sales Engineering, and Operations throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop repeatable engagement models that improve win rates and sales effectiveness.

 Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in capital markets infrastructure, hosting, connectivity, market data, exchange services, device management, timing services, cloud, etc.
  • Proven success supporting enterprise sales and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Pico’s Market Services, exchange ecosystems, financial market infrastructure, and managed services.
  • Experience partnering with sales organizations to develop pipeline and close complex opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes.

Success in This Role

  • Become the trusted Market Services specialist for the Americas sales organization.
  • Increase pipeline generation and sales effectiveness across Market Services offerings.
  • Improve alignment between Product, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams.
  • Directly contribute to new revenue growth and strategic deal closures.
  • Expand adoption of Pico Market Services solutions across existing and new clients.

 

Working Arrangements 

This is a hybrid position with weekly time in the office of 2-3 days a week with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certification. 

New York Pay range

$110,000 - $175,000 USD
