As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll work to establish Pie as the leading commercial insurer for small businesses by driving the product marketing strategy and lead go-to-market activities for our portfolio of technology solutions. You’ll do this by partnering closely with marketing, product, and business development to ensure alignment on go-to-marketing strategy, plans, and execution. You’ll own positioning, messaging, and overall communication strategies as you leverage your proven ability to create and execute key marketing activities and programs within budget and on time; this includes conducting competitive intelligence research as well as the development of sales enablement, training, communications and collateral.

How You’ll Do It

  • Own Product Marketing efforts:
    • Develop and implement impactful GTM programs for both workers' comp and commercial auto, orchestrating strategy formulation and execution to achieve or exceed growth targets for key product launches.
    • Collaborate closely with various levels of business development, product, and marketing leadership to identify and prioritize key product launches, crafting and executing strategies to enhance feature rollouts.
    • Champion an innovation-driven mindset, leading experimentation initiatives analyzing outcomes, and iteratively refining GTM strategies to drive continuous improvement.
    • Manage product marketing initiatives with a strategic focus, orchestrating impactful feature launches to maximize ROI.
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration with marketing, business development, product, and other teams to design and execute targeted GTM campaigns.
    • Lead and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions to shape campaign strategies, messaging, and tactics.
    • Stay informed about competitor strategies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to differentiate Pie in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Product to develop partner insights:
    • Understanding partner pain points, challenges, day-to-day highs and lows, including how they use Pie’s partner portal and workers’ comp and commercial auto offerings to solve those pains and make life better for their small business clients and maintain our competitive intelligence hub.
    • Evangelize and work to push the most critical insights to the rest of Pie to help improve products, marketing campaigns, sales effectiveness.
  • Identify and manage campaign to ensure we are meeting KPIs:
    • Partner with marketing analysts to establish standardized campaign reporting mechanisms, monitor key performance indicators, and leverage insights for campaign optimization.
    • Work closely with product and business development teams to understand market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and develop GTM campaigns that drive profitable business.

 

The Right Stuff

  • 8+ Product marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving B2B growth through strategic GTM campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly convey key findings to diverse stakeholders. Outstanding writer and editor with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM data (Salesforce preferred), pulling reports, and tracking a sales funnel. Bonus points for working knowledge of marketing automation platforms like SFMC. G-Suite Tools, Collaboration tools (slack is preferred), basic office machines.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve contentious and challenging issues diplomatically, collaborating effectively with internal leaders and external third parties to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while maintaining positive relationships and upholding organizational objectives.
  • Proven capability to effectively balance the demands of business development, product and marketing to deliver results on all fronts. Demonstrated proficiency in developing and overseeing successful multi-channel GTM marketing campaigns, from inception through to implementation and performance evaluation. Demonstrated agility in quickly acclimating to new projects, solving challenges, influencing decision makers, and prioritizing high impact activities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of marketing to independent insurance agencies and ability to connect with this unique audience.

Base Compensation Range

$145,000 - $180,000 USD

Location Information 

Unless otherwise specified, this role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
