Content and Brand Editorial Lead

US-Remote

Who We Are

Pindrop is a cybersecurity company delivering continuous identity verification across voice, video, and digital interactions. Powered by the Pindrop Intelligence Network, our unified trust platform helps enterprises answer three critical questions:

Is this identity synthetic? Detect AI-generated and manipulated voice and video.
Is this identity risky? Identify fraud, suspicious behavior, and other risk signals.
Is this identity known? Authenticate identities using voice, device, behavioral, and other signals.

Pindrop brings this intelligence together across purpose-built trust engines to help organizations make informed decisions in real time — protecting customers, workforce interactions, and emerging AI-driven interactions.

Pindrop protects billions of high-risk interactions for enterprises, including leading financial institutions, insurers, and healthcare organizations. Its technology is informed by more than 8 billion real-world interactions annually and protected by 300+ patents.

Recognized by TIME as one of the 10 Most Influential Software Companies of 2026 and by Inc. for Best in Business for Innovation, Pindrop is backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and CapitalG.

What you’ll do

We are hiring a Content & Brand Editorial Lead to architect the narrative and content engine that defines Pindrop’s voice in the Identity Trust category.

This is a role for a strategic operator. You will own our editorial roadmap, turning complex, high-stakes security challenges (like voice biometrics, deepfake detection, and identity assurance) into compelling narratives that shape the buying decisions of C-suite security leaders.

You are a builder. You do not just execute a calendar; you define the content standards, the voice, and the strategy that the company follows.

You will work daily with Demand Gen, PMM, Product, and Design to ensure every piece of content moves the needle on pipeline and brand authority.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Own our quarterly flagship publication. This anchors our brand narrative and establishes our market authority. You will oversee every stage, from sourcing internal research and collaborating with subject matter experts to packaging insights into stories that security leaders rely on.
  • Translate complex research into clear narratives. Our products deal with difficult technical concepts. You will work closely with our research and product teams to extract the story from the data and ensure it lands with an executive audience.
  • Own organic inbound pipeline strategy, directly connecting content output to measurable pipeline growth and qualified lead generation.
  • Manage the editorial calendar. You will build a content strategy that balances high-velocity tactical content with the deep, quarterly thought leadership mentioned above.
  • Operationalize our content engine. Since everyone at Pindrop is a writer, you will build the systems, style guides, and AI agents that allow the whole team to maintain brand consistency at scale.

Who you are

  • You write well and you know it. Storytelling and editing come easy.
  • Your quality bar is high, and you notice details other people skip.
  • You move across formats easily (long-form, short-form, video scripts, webinars, social) and know which one a story needs.
  • You know the ICP: Fortune 500 buyer / executives at enterprise companies, and you write for how they actually evaluate a vendor, not a generic buyer persona.
  • Your technical content is backed by real research. You read the primary source, talk to the expert, or pull the data before you write the sentence.
  • You understand and have led SEO and/or AEO efforts. You're already adjusting your content for how AI answer engines pull and cite it.
  • You’ve own the content programs that drove organic inbound pipeline.
  • You’ve built AI skills, GPTs, and agents that empower entire orgs. You use AI daily. You can point to specific things it's let you build faster or better.
  • You have high agency. You move fast and don't need much hand-holding.

Your skill-set

Strategic Leadership

  • 6-8+ years in content marketing at a B2B SaaS or security company, with a focus on building and scaling editorial programs.
  • Editorial program ownership. You have managed a recurring flagship publication, research series, or editorial calendar. You understand how to plan a narrative arc that sustains engagement over multiple quarters.
  • Proven success in defining brand narrative and aligning content strategy with business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Experience writing for the executive decision-maker at Fortune 500 buyers, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership. You own the editorial calendar and ensure high-velocity execution across PMM, Demand Gen, and Sales.

Core Competencies

  • A portfolio of published work: blogs, customer stories, thought leadership, and webinars.
  • Full-funnel expertise: experience driving strategy from brand narrative to sales-enablement content.
  • Technical SEO/AEO proficiency: keyword strategy, technical on-page basics, and structural optimization for AI answer engines.
  • AI-Native Workflow: expert use of AI writing tools to increase speed and quality. You can point to specific examples of impact.
  • Data fluency: hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, and mapping content to pipeline.
