The Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic payroll manager.  The ideal candidate can work independently and collaboratively with a team to manage payroll in a fast growing, industry-leading technology company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day payroll operations for all areas, coordinating with payroll providers and internal teams to deliver pay accurately, timely, effectively, within all regulatory, labor and tax guidelines.
  • Supervise the payroll team and guide office culture.
  • Oversee and approve payrolls, ensuring all processes are followed for accuracy. 
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Manage and adjust processes as needed for a growing and changing company.
  • Communicate regularly with HR and Finance to review cross-department impacts and oversee efficiencies around data flow.
  • Stay current on all payroll and tax changes to stay compliant.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, paid leave balances and other payroll-related questions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong functional Payroll knowledge and a minimum of 7 years experience in payroll processing for multi-country payroll.
  • Experience in EMEA and APAC payroll.
  • Leadership experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to investigate and identify system issues and problems.
  • Proficient in Excel and report writing skills.
  • Attention to detail, ability to carefully audit payroll records to identify errors before payment is made.
  • Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations as they relate to multi-country payroll.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret payroll data for multi-country including stock transactions and deferrals.
  • Ability to handle numerous priorities in a dynamic and growing environment.
  • Skilled in developing strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience using Ultimate Software (UltiPro, UKG) & Cloudpay a plus!
