As a Security Contracts Analyst focused on customer-facing security discussions, contract discussions, you will work with cross functional teams to to support in the alignment of contract negotiations with both our internal controls and industry best practices. You should be knowledgeable of industry standard controls that apply to both cloud services and software development, have experience with reviewing security terms in contracts, and be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to assess control effectiveness. Strong written skills and the ability to present and justify decisions to senior leaders on global organizations is a must. The GRC Team is primarily located in Denver, so you will be expected to work with minimal supervision and represent the GRC Team and work with Sales, Legal, Customers, and Engineering in your time zone. You will report to the Director of Compliance and Information Security. 

You will: 

  • Provide subject matter technical expertise on areas of security, privacy and regulatory compliance to support Ping Identity's interactions with customers while promoting assurance of contractual terms Ping Identity's security and privacy program. 
  • Review security terms in customer contracts and support Legal and Sales with customer-facing discussions. 
  • Provide input to the company risk management process activities and related documentation. 
  • Manage customer negotiations, including customer discussions and working with internal cross-functional teams to prepare. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams and control owners to determine compliance with regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements. 

You have: 

  • Experience negotiating security terms in contracts. 
  • Experience working with security controls and compliance programs 
  • Experience analysing common regulations that impact security programs and contracts to determine applicability, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, APRA, and EBA Guidelines. Familiarity with industry standard guidelines and frameworks, including OWASP, SANS, CVSS scoring, PCI, and NIST 800-53. 
  • Understanding of security controls at the systems, network, and application level and how to apply with cloud-based services. 
  • Experience applying risk management principles to security organisations.
