Role Overview:
Ping Identity is seeking an experienced Director of Digital Demand Generation to lead marketing program development, build pipeline momentum, and fuel revenue growth across the Americas. This strategic role is responsible for leading a team and collaborating across functions to generate high-quality leads, optimize conversions across the marketing funnel, and accelerate pipeline creation. The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven leader with a proven track record in B2B digital marketing, demand generation and account-based strategies along with experience in 6sense and other intent data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Execution: Own and drive the digital demand generation strategy, inclusive of always on programs (eg. SEM, social, email, webinars…), campaigns and account-based marketing to achieve growth targets.
- Program Development: Design and implement demand generation programs that both acquire leads and nurture them through the buyer’s journey, ensuring strong progression through each funnel stage toward conversion. Intent data is foundational to programming at all levels.
- Regional Program Optimization: Adapt and optimize demand generation strategies for regional and vertical markets, tailoring campaigns to unique needs while maintaining alignment with corporate objectives. Collaborate with regional field teams to support localized content and strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Partner closely with global campaigns, field marketing, partner marketing, marketing operations and sales development reps to align on campaign strategies, execution, enablement and follow-up to maximize the impact of digital campaigns.
- Data-Driven Optimization & Reporting: Continuously analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns, ensuring that programs contribute effectively to the pipeline targets. Translate insights into actionable improvements that drive higher lead conversion and greater pipeline velocity. Drive scorecard development, campaign reports and quarterly business reviews.
- Market Alignment: Stay attuned to evolving market dynamics, adjusting demand generation priorities as needed to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Team and Vendor Management: Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative, innovative environment. Oversee demand generation budgets and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Pipeline Ownership: Be accountable for meeting or exceeding pipeline targets for America’s marketing. Partner with other marketing teams to make adjustments to programs, budget and strategies in response to changing business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in demand generation, digital marketing, or related fields, with a focus on B2B.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a digital marketing team and collaborating across functions to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) with familiarity in analytics and intent data/platforms including 6sense.
- Analytical Strength: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data to inform and optimize campaign decisions for top-of-funnel and pipeline progression.
- Creativity and Innovation: A creative problem-solver who can develop unique demand generation strategies and drive continuous improvement..
Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-impact initiatives and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
USA: $175,000 - $200,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
