Ping Identity is seeking a high-impact, data-driven Director of Professional Services (PS) Operations & Strategy to lead global operational planning, drive delivery excellence, and execute on initiatives that increase productivity, profitability, and customer outcomes. This is a critical leadership role focused on optimizing how PS operates—from bookings and revenue forecasting to systems, analytics, and partner enablement. You will work closely with the VP of Professional Services and PS regional leaders to translate strategy into execution, ensuring we scale efficiently and predictably.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Operations & Forecasting
- Own PS bookings, backlog, and revenue forecast operations—partnering closely with regional PS leaders, Finance, and Sales Ops.
- Establish consistent global forecasting and pipeline hygiene practices; provide real-time insights into trends and risks.
- Enable revenue growth through modeling, scenario planning, and operational insights.
Strategy Execution & Transformation
- Translate strategic goals into operational plans and programs that drive transformation across PS.
- Lead and program manage key initiatives tied to growth, margin improvement, and delivery model evolution.
- Serve as the operational “nerve center” of the PS organization, coordinating across regions, partners, and functions.
Systems, Tools & Analytics
- Manage and evolve the PS tech stack (Kantata, SFDC, Clari, etc.) to support scalable delivery and business insight.
- Define and maintain performance dashboards across KPIs like utilization, bookings, margin, forecast accuracy, and delivery efficiency.
- Introduce automation and reporting capabilities that free up capacity and enable proactive decision-making.
Partner Enablement & Co-Delivery Governance
- Partner with Alliances to create and manage tools and frameworks that support a growing partner-led delivery model.
- Track partner delivery quality and effectiveness, ensuring accountability and performance consistency.
Team Leadership
- Lead and grow a small team focused on PS operations, analytics, and tooling.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and career development to build a high-performing ops team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in PS or sales operations within the software/SaaS space.
- 5+ years in people management roles leading high-performing operations or analytics teams.
- Proven experience driving forecast rigor, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking, with deep experience in forecasting, metrics design, and reporting.
- Expertise in CRM/PSA platforms (e.g., SFDC, Kantata, Clari) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence; able to operate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with IAM or cybersecurity industries is a plus.

USA: $132,000 - $171,720 + Commission
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
