The Technical Accounting Lead will have involvement in accounting transactions spanning both revenue and general ledger, with opportunities to work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the business. Candidates for this position are self-motivated, hungry to learn, and not afraid of a challenge. You will report to the Manager, Technical Accounting.
You will:
- Conduct research on complex accounting transactions and prepare written accounting memos for review by management and external auditors
- Collaborate with the Product, Finance, Legal, and Sales teams on product readiness initiatives to ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
- Support prospective mergers & acquisitions activity, including financial due diligence and purchase price accounting
- Assist with special projects impacting the broader accounting organization
- Stay up to date with emerging accounting pronouncements and industry trends, assessing their impact on the organization
You have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of accounting experience, demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance
- Effective time management and prioritization skills, including project management to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner

Salary Range: $84,000 - $104,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
