As a Financial Analyst reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you'll be a key contributor to Ping Identity's Corporate Finance team. This role calls for an individual who is proactive and curious, excited to uncover trends, clearly convey findings, and continuously optimize processes alongside both Corporate Finance and diverse cross-functional business partners.
You will:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated cash flow forecasting models, incorporating various business drivers and assumptions
- Support month-end close processes including reporting and assisting with the preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and business partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, FP&A Ops) to gather relevant data that impacts cash flow and communicate meaningful results to partners
- Analyze historical data, identify trends, and develop in-depth variance analyses to explain deviations between actual and forecasted results
- Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, enabling you to maintain complex spreadsheets
- Solid understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively
- A high degree of accuracy in your work and a commitment to meeting deadlines
You have an advantage if:
- You have experience with financial systems such as Anaplan and Netsuite
- Previous financial analysis experience within a high-growth SaaS company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
- Professional certification such as CFA or CPA
Salary: $80,000-$85,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
