The Role:

The Architect will work with architects and broader technology leaders to define the Platform Strategy for both our Cloud and Self Managed offerings. They will help build, grow and scale our Cloud offerings and help shape the Cloud vision by innovating and working across the platform products to deliver the best customer experience possible.

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the architecture team, you contribute to ForgeRock’s vision, strategy, and execution. 
  • Work closely with the engineering and management team to ensure that development plans, resources, and strategies are coordinated across all departments in a cohesive and collaborative fashion. 
  • Champion the importance of innovation and creativity to ensure future competitive advantage. 
  • Partner with engineering to establish rapid cloud development processes with small teams that can accelerate, build, design, test, and launch products and optimize update management.
  • Develop and implement world-class enterprise cloud architectures, strategies, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience including a track record of building and owning cloud offerings that have a direct impact on customer/user acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Has successfully delivered at scale short and long-term architectures to cloud engineering teams that take into account current and future customer and scaling needs without causing wasted time for engineering. 
  • Established ability of building, managing, and leading first-class business – must have a solid track record of recruiting and developing good people. Has managed a direct or matrixed broad team.
  • Record of defining and driving a successful launch of cloud offerings for revenue generation at scale.
  • Have delivered a differentiated cloud experience in a crowded market. 
  • Established ability to deliver world-class cloud offerings across the full life-cycle, including demonstrating clear wins in user experience, cloud delivery, processes, positioning, cloud strategy, and cloud launch. 
  • Accountability for clear articulation and execution of cloud strategy, including broader product team advocacy of vision and strategy as well as periodic updates on plans and key performance indicators. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced product-driven organization and assume a broad range of responsibilities. 
  • Experience in both SaaS and on-premise products.

  • Change Agent – must proactively and passionately support, manage, and drive all change initiatives with a “can do” attitude and help to win the hearts and minds of peers, colleagues, and team members alike to help drive the changes required.
