We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Licensing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day licensing operations, ensuring customers receive accurate software and SaaS entitlements in a timely and compliant manner. As the final touchpoint in the sales-to-activation process, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience while maintaining adherence to licensing policies and procedures.
You Will:
License Processing
- Review approved opportunities and generate licenses in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Issue and update software and SaaS licenses, ensuring entitlements are accurate.
- Support renewals and contract amendments by validating details against prior agreements.
Customer & Sales Support
- Respond to licensing inquiries from cross-functional partners.
- Address common requests such as trial extensions, entitlement adjustments, and license visibility.
- Provide clear and consistent communication, leveraging templates and SOPs.
Compliance & Accuracy
- Ensure licensing actions are aligned with contractual terms and company policies.
- Track trial extensions and escalate exceptions for approval.
- Maintain accurate data within Salesforce and meet SLA timelines.
Process Adherence & Improvement
- Follow established SOPs for licensing tasks while contributing to documentation updates.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest small improvements to increase efficiency.
- Adapt to evolving workflows and CRM configurations.
You Have:
- 2–4 years of experience in customer operations, licensing, order management, or a related function.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (or other CRM/contract management systems).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work accurately in detail-oriented, high-volume environments.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the SaaS/software industry.
- Familiarity with Service Cloud or other ticketing platforms.
- Exposure to entitlement data structures (e.g., feature flags, JSON attributes).
- Understanding of compliance or contract-driven workflows.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $77,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
