FMS International Military Student Officer
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Pioneering Evolution is seeking an experienced FMS International Military Student Officer (IMSO) to support our Navy customer on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a DoD or NAVSEA Program Office and providing oversight of international military students. In this role, you will interface with the program training lead, lead IMSO coordinator, training scheduler, Country Liaison Officers (CLOs), NETSAFA to help the program’s FMS Student Training Team maintain daily accountability, planning travel, and providing oversight of International Military Students and updating Security Cooperation Training Management System (SC-TMS).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintain daily accountability, planning, travel, and oversight of international military students.
- Update the Security Cooperation Training Management System (SC-TMS).
- Provide administrative support for the international military students.
- Review and generate monthly international military student status reports.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience supporting a DoD or Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
- 3+ years of experience using international military student tracking tools such as DSAMS and SANWeb.
- Experience with international military student management and tracking.
- Familiarity with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM).
- Experience with FMS program stakeholders such as Navy International Program Office (NIPO) and Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) or equivalents in other service branches
- Experience with IMET and FMS Case Student programing using Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) and the Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC).
- US Citizenship is required with Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain/maintain such clearance.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop financial reports and recommendations.
- Good presentation and time management skills.
